CNA STORAGE – DELIVERY POLICY
At CNA Storage Solutions, we are committed to delivering your order in a safe, efficient, and transparent manner. This Delivery Policy outlines our standard shipping procedures, handling responsibilities, communication practices, and important terms and conditions.
1. Delivery Scope & Coverage
We only ship to addresses within Australia.
No deliveries to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.
Residential, business, and warehouse addresses are accepted, subject to delivery terms.
Some areas may fall outside standard courier zones (even if not classified as “remote”) and may require manual pricing or alternative delivery methods.
2. Freight Handling & Delivery Conditions
Deliveries are to ground level, curbside, or loading dock only.
Items weighing over 25kg require unloading assistance.
A forklift must be available for unloading pallets and bulky goods.
If no forklift is available, the customer must arrange manual unloading or tailgate service (additional fees apply).
Customers must ensure:
The site is accessible for a delivery truck
A safe unloading area is available
Any site restrictions are advised before dispatch
3. Delivery Scheduling, Communication & Notifications
Deliveries occur between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday).
Delivery timeframes are estimated at 1–5 business days from receipt of payment.
Large orders and remote-area deliveries may experience longer lead times. Customers will be notified by email before dispatch if extended delivery time is expected.
Driver Communication Policy
Drivers are not required to call customers prior to delivery.
Due to tight delivery schedules, safety policies, and route optimisation, drivers cannot contact customers individually.
Delivery updates, tracking details, and notifications are provided via email and/or SMS from CNA Storage or the assigned transport provider.
Requests for pre-delivery phone calls cannot be guaranteed, even if noted at checkout.
4. Authority to Leave (ATL), Redelivery & Risk
Authority to Leave (ATL)
All local deliveries are completed under Authority to Leave (ATL) by default, unless otherwise agreed in writing before dispatch.
By booking delivery, the customer authorises CNA Storage and its transport partners to:
Deliver goods without customer presence
Leave items at a safe and accessible location at the delivery address
Once goods are delivered and unloaded, responsibility transfers to the customer.
CNA Storage is not liable for loss, theft, or damage after delivery is completed under ATL.
Redelivery Conditions
A re-delivery fee will apply if:
No safe ATL location is available
The site is inaccessible
The address is incorrect
Unloading cannot be completed due to lack of equipment or staff
Drivers are not required to wait on-site or make repeated contact attempts.
5. Delivery Fees & Adjustments
Shipping fees are calculated using our freight calculator at checkout.
Additional charges may apply for:
Oversized or bulky items
Remote or non-standard zones
Residential addresses
After-hours or weekend delivery
Tailgate or hand-unloading services
Customers will be notified in advance of any applicable adjustments.
No orders will be shipped until freight terms are accepted.
6. Split Orders & Dispatch
Orders may be split into multiple consignments based on stock availability.
Each shipment will include separate tracking and notification details.
Partial shipments may incur separate freight fees, which will be communicated prior to dispatch.
7. Delays, Lost Items & Investigations
All delivery dates provided are estimates only.
Delays caused by courier disruptions, peak periods, weather, or external factors are beyond our control.
Lost items cannot be replaced until the courier completes a formal investigation (may take up to 12 business days).
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us for assistance.
8. Packaging & Disposal
Products are shipped flat-packed or on pallets for safe transport.
Packaging materials and pallets will not be collected or returned unless specifically arranged.
Disposal or return of packaging is the customer’s responsibility.
9. Final Confirmation
All orders placed via our website are subject to review and acceptance by CNA Storage.
In the event of pricing errors or freight rate changes, customers will be contacted before dispatch.
Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of notification if revised terms are not accepted.
